The Founder

Yusuf Kayiwa

Founder of Federal Africa

UgandaSince 2024

A united Africa, built by its citizens: one charter, shared institutions, and a federation that belongs to every African, at home and in the diaspora.

The vision

Africa is one people living under fifty-five flags. The founder's vision is a federation those people build for themselves, in practice, before any government signs a treaty: a charter they write, institutions they fill, and a citizenship that makes every African a citizen of the whole continent.

Federal Africa is that federation as a working simulation. Its chambers debate real bills, its courts hear real cases between members, and its departments run real projects. Every seat is open to a verified citizen, and every office changes hands by election.

The aim is simple to say. When Africa's states are ready to unite, the people will already know how, because they will have been doing it.

The Founder's standing

The charter names the founder in its founding article. It is a standing, not an office: held for life, with no power over any branch, and separate from any office the founder may win by election. The article itself is in the charter.

Also holds: Federal Chairperson, interim until the first election
